This year's CHINAPLAS International Rubber and Plastics Exhibition covers an area of 350,000 square meters. Focusing on the theme of "New Era, New Power, and Sustainable Innovation", it will join hands with 3600+ global high-quality rubber and plastic suppliers for four consecutive days (April 13-16) release leading technologies to the industry with massive innovative materials and mechanical technology, highlight the development of the new era, provide technical support for the high-quality development of the industry, and point out the direction for the future development of the industry.

In addition to releasing outstanding high-performance plastics, intelligent manufacturing, environmental protection and recyclable solutions, etc., it has also vigorously launched 290+ global or Asia's first hot-spot technologies, dedicated to driving industry innovation and growth. High-frequency words such as new infrastructure, 5G, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, unmanned, and big health show that technological progress has accelerated the update and iteration of products, and has spawned upstream materials and manufacturing needs.

Highlight 1: Plastic Recycling and Circular Economy Forum and Exhibition attracts attention
The circular economy has a huge impact on the global rubber and plastics industry. This is not only a hot topic from all walks of life, but also a huge new market of hundreds of billions. A successful and sustainable circular economy requires support and cooperation along the entire value chain, from material manufacturers to brands and final consumers.

The second "CHINAPLASx CPRJ Plastics Recycling and Circular Economy Forum and Exhibition" will be held on the day before the opening of the exhibition (April 12) to explore the deep meaning of circular economy in an all-round and multi-dimensional way. The content covers the international trend and policy orientation of plastic recycling and recycling, the recycling and sorting experience of leading regions, and the innovative ideas and achievements of plastic recycling. This is another upgrade after the first event of the Adsale Guangzhou Exhibition was successfully held. It is expected to launch more than 40 speeches, attracting more than 400 industry elites to collide with ideas. Speakers came from participants in the value chain such as Alliance to End Plastic Waste, Kingfa, SABIC, IKEA, as well as Covestro, Veolia, Meituan, Procter & Gamble, Borouge, Southern Packaging, Pepsi, Tetra Pak Packaging and other star enterprises.

Highlight 2: "Industry 4.0 Future Factory" helps enterprises to reduce costs and upgrade
Digitization is at full speed in 2020. The "Industry 4.0 Factory of the Future" showcases that Industry 4.0 and digital production can bring various benefits, including enhanced customer-supplier ties, production efficiency and industrial profit maximization, continuous production, and automated process monitoring and quality control.
This exhibition is aimed at the common pain points of users, such as production often halted, the complete traceability problem takes too long, the cost is too high, and the urgent need for production mode change, remote maintenance and monitoring, etc., are provided to users by a strong lineup in three parts A wealth of implementation solutions, including: Digital Factory Showcases the actual operation of digital factories, among which Arburg, Broadview, Engel, Heihu Zhizao, KraussMaffei, LK, Matsui, Moninite, Morocco Dan, WITTMANN BATTENFELD, Yizumi, Zhuge Yun and other big-name companies, together with China Unicom, demonstrated the intelligent production line of injection molding; the intelligent manufacturing control room of Homo sapiens connected the equipment of different booths and the production factory located at the remote site outside the exhibition hall; simulation Scenarios and Experience Workshops will showcase simulation scenarios related to smart molds, smart production, smart quality control, and smart automation. In particular, the new experience workshop will introduce the industry to the application of Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture (OPC UA).
"Industry 4.0 Future Factory" was held at the same time as the exhibition, organized by Adsale Exhibition Services Co., Ltd. and the backbone of the industry 4.0 field - iPlast4.0 Homo sapiens Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center, a European plastics and rubber industrial machinery manufacturer The Association (EUROMAP), the German Machinery Manufacturers Association (VDMA) co-organized the heavy building, and the OPC Foundation as the co-organizer of the event.

Highlight 3: "Technology Platform" decrypts cutting-edge technologies
According to reports, the "ace program" of the exhibition - "Technology Podium" has been held for four consecutive sessions and has become a highly influential platform for the release of innovative technology. The event will join hands with more than 40 powerful speakers to interpret the latest, hottest and most breakthrough product technology of the year around 6 major themes.
In addition, 5G will lead the operation mode of various industries in the next 10 years, and "rubber and plastic + 5G" can be said to be quite eye-catching. This topic will focus on 5G-related raw materials and their molding processes, especially the application of plastics in 5G infrastructure and end products: low dielectric, high temperature resistance, and easy heat dissipation.

The content includes automotive environmental protection technology sharing composite materials, low VOC materials and lightweight solutions used in automobiles. Smart packaging brings packaging solutions with functions such as indication, display, preservation, antibacterial, and user interaction. High-performance resins, functional film materials, photoresists and special chemicals for lithium-ion batteries used in new energy, aerospace, packaging, automotive, electronic appliances, medical and other fields are included in the innovative materials section. The much-discussed biological and composite molding process will deconstruct the molding process of bioplastics, degradable plastics, and resin-based fiber-reinforced composite materials. And in the process of industrial upgrading and transformation, manufacturers need to use more automation and precision manufacturing technologies to meet product demand. The theme of automated precision manufacturing focuses on precision extrusion and injection molding and molds used to produce high-precision parts.

Highlight 4: "Medical Plastics Exchange" shines brightly
After the epidemic, the market demand for medical and health products has soared, and it is expected that the industry's attention will continue to heat up. After five sessions of careful polishing, "Medical Plastics Exchange" has become the flagship product of the exhibition. In the post-epidemic context, it is even more long-sleeved and good at dancing, helping to promote high-tech medical technologies and products in depth.
"Medical Plastics Exchange" will hold three special seminars, focusing on plastic technology discussions and special releases related to antibacterial sterilization, medical 3D printing, biocompatible and degradable biomaterials, application of smart health products, etc. All-round promotion, precise docking with manufacturers of medical devices, consumables and pharmaceutical packaging. At the same time, the "Medical Plastics Guide" is specially compiled to facilitate the audience to grasp the innovative medical plastics solutions more efficiently.
There are many highlights of this event, which quickly responds to new market demands and focuses on a number of popular medical fields. Such as high-performance modified materials, lightweight and waterproof and breathable materials, new technologies for smart care and health products such as wearable sensors made of silicone films; 3D printing medical applications such as protective masks, respirators, nasopharyngeal swabs, Dental molds, orthopedics, etc.; and 3D printing interventional consumables such as photosensitive resin materials, polypropylene materials, and LCD dental mold resins.

Driven by the epidemic, antibacterial sterilization has also attracted great attention in the market, such as transparent materials that can withstand repeated high-temperature steam sterilization, environmentally friendly antibacterial and antiviral coating additives, and implantable bacteria-repellent plastics and other technologies. To this end, the forum cooperated for the first time with the Medical Device Packaging Professional Committee of the China Medical Device Industry Association and the Shanghai Additive Manufacturing Association to deeply analyze the hot topics of medical packaging and sterilization and medical 3D printing.
It is expected that this event will follow the market's interest in medical and health products after the epidemic, attracting more buyers from the medical plastics industry to attend.
