What is corona treatment

The corona treatment is a surface finishing method to change the adhesive ability of material surfaces through the inherent surface energy and intermolecular bonds. In contrary to its unknown name, corona treatment is already widely used for painting, gluing, printing, cleaning, coating, laminating, sealing, bonding, labeling, grafting, spreading, tape casting, pasting, extrusion, and polymerization in various industries, like the package, medical, printing, machinery, automotive, education, test labs, banks, and electronics.
