Brief Introduction

corona treatment is a highly established and most widely used plasma process. It uses a bright filament from a sharp and high-voltage electrode. It is advantageous due to its operability at atmospheric pressure, with the air as a reagent.

Hongchang has developed the HF series-high speed corona treatment frame to satisfy the needs of customers. Its speed could reach 350-400 meters per minute. It can be easily installed on the printing production lines, film blowing machines, lamination machines, and so on, to treat single or double sides of materials, like PE/PS/PP/metal film, etc., with 600-4000MM effective treatment width. Welcome to inquiry and we will recommend corona treatment sets according to your requirements. If you are worried about the treatment effects, please send your samples to us for testing.

Main Features of HW-HFS

Tips: corona treatment on cast film extrusion

As far as corona treatment is concerned, the application is not very different from that of blown film extrusion.
Cast film extruders are often used in manufacturing polypropylene films and require considerably higher specific energy than polyethylene films. Depending on the type of raw material, the difference can be as much as a factor of three. Apart from that, cast film extruders usually produce at higher speeds of up to 200m/min and more. This means that generators with higher output and 2 or more electrodes per side must be used.
