Brief Introduction

A photoelectric sensor is a device used to determine the distance, absence, or presence of an object by using a light transmitter, often infrared, and a photoelectric receiver. They are largely used in industrial manufacturing. There are three different useful types: opposed (through-beam), retro-reflective, and proximity-sensing (diffused).

Slot photoelectric sensor
Install an optical transmitter and a receiver face-to-face on both sides of a slot to form a slot photoelectric. The emitter can emit infrared light or visible light, and the light receiver can receive the light under unobstructed conditions. But when the object to be detected passes through the slot, the light is blocked, and the photoelectric switch will act, and output a switch control signal to cut off or connect the load current, thus completing a control action. The detection distance of the slot switch is generally only a few centimeters due to the limitation of the overall structure.
