Brief Introduction
A torque motor controller is used for controlling the running speed of the torque motor on film-blowing machines and bag-making machines or other kinds of machines. The torque motor controller is equipped on the winding part of the film blowing machine or air bubble film-making machine, to control the winding speed.
The torque motor board is a new type of electronic pressure regulating (opening and closed loop) control device. The main feature is that the tension can still be maintained within the allowable range after the line speed is changed. It is suitable for tension when winding the product. It basically remains unchanged, and the motor performance and winding performance are coordinated and matched. It is an ideal matching device for mechatronic torque motors.
Applications
This product is suitable for winding equipment in metallurgy, printing, petrochemical, textile, plastic, wire and cable, papermaking, boiler, hoisting, machine tools, general machinery, and other industries. The winding diameter gradually increases from the initial stage to the final stage. Changes in tension and line speed throughout the process are kept within the allowable range.

Wiring instructions
Connect the three-phase AC power supply to the inputs A, B, and C of the torque motor board through the three-pole automatic switch (130% of the motor stall current), and the outputs D1, D2, and D3 of the board to the torque Motor terminals W1, V1, U1. Please connect the cooling fan to the input end.

Tips: Drawback of Ordinary Speed Controllers
One drawback of the majority of simple speed controllers is they only provide the motor with a predetermined constant voltage. As a result, the speed doesn't remain constant and varies with the load on the motor, due to the absence of torque compensation. For example in a model train, with simple controllers, the speed of the train gradually decreases for the climbing gradients and accelerates while heading downhill.
Hence for model trains, the pot control adjustment to keep up a selected motor speed likewise deviates depending on the load that the engine may be tugging.
The constant torque motor speed controller circuit gets rid of this issue by tracking the motor speed and maintaining it constantly for a predetermined control setting, no matter what the load may be on the motor.
The circuit can be applied in most of the models which use a DC permanent magnet motor.
